The ROOTS™ 36 URAI-J™ WHISPAIR™ blower features a rugged cast-iron casing with computer-designed reliefs for noise and shock suppression, precision-machined two-lobe impellers, ground steel shafts, carburized alloy steel timing gears, and oversized anti-friction bearings with cylindrical roller bearing support. Its grease-lubricated drive end, splash oil lubricated gear end, and Roots’ exclusive figure-eight gearbox design improve oil distribution, reduce vibration and pulsation, and extend bearing and gear life.
