The ROOTS™ 42 Universal RAI DSL rotary positive displacement blower is engineered for continuous-duty industrial air movement with dual splash oil lubrication on both the gear and drive ends, utilizing 14.5 ounces of gear-end oil and 10.8 ounces of drive-end oil in horizontal configurations. Featuring a rigid cast iron casing, precision-machined involute impellers, and Howden’s exclusive figure-eight gearbox design, the unit delivers reliable volumetric efficiency, enhanced oil distribution, and extended bearing life. Designed for OEM and replacement applications, the blower supports four drive shaft positions with detachable steel mounting feet for adaptable vertical or horizontal installation configurations.
