Precision-machined involute impellers, carburized alloy steel timing gears, and oversized anti-friction bearings support stable airflow efficiency, while synthetic blower oil provides an estimated 4000–8000 hour lubricant life at approximately 180°F operating temperature.

ROOTS™ recommends synthetic oil and grease for extended blower life and thermal stability. Recommended synthetic lubricants support extended service intervals and dependable industrial blower operation. New units are shipped dry and require oil prior to startup.
