Roots RAM-J Whispair Blowers

The Roots Ram blower WHISPAIR™ series is designed for high efficiency and reduced noise in demanding industrial environments. RAM-J units feature the original WHISPAIR jets, which control pressure equalization by feeding backflow in the direction of impeller movement. This design reduces noise and power loss while aiding rotation. The WHISPAIR feature results in uni-directional flow and drive shaft rotation.

Frame Sizes 404J thru 624J

All Roots whispair blower units are available in 7 different models and include detachable rugged steel mounting feet for adaptability to vertical or horizontal installations, with four drive shaft positions. The top shaft is extended for drive on side outlet blowers, and either shaft can be extended for drive on top or bottom outlet blowers.
